In order to obtain the best views of the surrounding countryside and to take advantage of the undulating nature of the land, the decision was made to build this country house on the edge of a small plateau.

The parking area and main entrance are located on the upper edge of the plateau, without revealing the true size of the whole house.

Once you have crossed the threshold and entered the house, a magnificent view is laid out before you, as you enter the ground floor. From this point the layout of the house appears to be open plan, respecting the original concept of the design. Hallways connect a number of galleries, and link these to the sides of the house, while a staircase leads to the lower levels. One of the special features of the house is an internal patio in the center, which covers two levels.

Walking through this country house is like being inside a house of long ago, when you couldn’t be sure what you would find around each corner. The versatility and creativity reflected in the personal touches given to each of the house’s different areas is unique, and even though each part of the house has its own identity, they are bound together with their own synergy. In terms of the decoration, the architectural details add to a series of materials combining the natural with the modern, always eye catching, which together achieve a harmony of composition. The textures and colors of rock, stone, tile, wood, aluminum and iron can be seen throughout the length and breadth of the house.

From the uppermost floor housing the master bedroom with its balcony and a second bedroom with living room, a staircase descends to the middle level. On this level can be found one of the galleries, the kitchen and dining room, and in the gallery on the opposite side, other bedrooms including the children’s room.

The lower level opens onto the central patio and also provides access to two other rooms, which are completely independent, both in style and decoration. The Pergola, as well as providing shade against the heat of the day, also constitutes an excellent decorative feature.

A sliding grill from a strategically located pool area, offering unparalleled views, separates the patio. This ensures that you achieve the richly deserved relaxation that you long for. The generously proportioned areas of the house complement the natural surroundings. Obviously none of this could have been achieved without a clear understanding of the owners’ vision and the architect’s designs. The outcome is a country house where, without any shadow of doubt, one

can enjoy the good life.
