The indiscriminate exploitation of cities or the environment runs
completely contrary to the concept of sustainable development.
We could write whole pages on subjects like this, and thinking
about them often makes us feel uncomfortable, but we live in the
age of the “now” where we prefer not to think about the medium
or long term consequences of anything.
If we look at Panama as a whole, from one end to the other, with all
the benefits that it has to offer, it is unthinkable that we could miss
the truth that its sustainable growth is linked to the harmony and
respect with which we care for Panama’s natural heritage. With this
vision in mind, the real estate company Romero Realty, under the
direction of Melissa Araúz, Marketing Manager, decided to publish
some desk diaries illustrated with excellent images captured by
recognized photographer Alfredo Maiquez. Month by month
these images remind us that Panama is a country with a richness
of biodiversity and that both its natural environment and its cities
need our respect, both now and into the future, so that residents
and other nationalities may continue to enjoy these assets.
