On February 28 the long awaited press conference took place at the sales
offices of the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower in Panama
City. We had the opportunity to have a look a the headquarter offices
of this millonaire proyect, which we present you in this article. The most
outstanding members of the Panamanian, Colombian and Venezuelan
press met for the presentation of this project, considered as one of the most
important, not only at the local level, but in all of Latin America.
The outstanding team of professionals that manage the development of
the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower met in Panama City,
to confirm what to many seemed simply like a dream: the unstoppable
pace of this grand project. At the head of the team was its promoter,
Mr. Roger Khafif, from K-Group Developers, who gave all the media the
opportunity to get to know first hand, and from each representative,
the advances of the project. On behalf of the well known company Arias
Serna Saravia, one of the most prestigious architecture, design and
engineering firms in Latin America, Mr. Eduardo Saravia, CEO, as well as
Mr. Carlos Saravia, COO & CFO, revealed and detailed the complex and
original design of the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower. A
seventy (70) floor building, which will include a shopping center, a casino,
a business center, a high end hotel and two residential condominiums, in
addition to a parking building with the capacity for one thousand four
hundred (1400) vehicles.
On the other hand, Mr. José Luis Martinez, Bear Sterns Managing Director,
explained the great advantages of working in connection with such a
relevant project and with the certainty of unstoppable success it is having
in sales. Mr. Jeff Barton, from ISG, responsible for sales, confirmed what
many expected; that 70% of the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel &
Tower has been sold. Finally, Mr. Jenaro Echeverri, Construction Manager,
explained the more up to date state of the works, as he did an extensive
presentation of all what has been achieved to date, the excavation and
preparing of the terrain to initiate the upwards construction of the Trump
Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower. All this has been taking place in
alliance with the prestigious construction company Díaz y Guardia. Mr.
Rene Orillac, President of the company, also attended and revealed his
pride in participating in a project of such magnitude.
To top it all is the strategic location of the Trump Ocean Club International
Hotel & Tower, at only ten minutes from the financial district, fifteen
minutes from Tocumen International Airport and a mere minutes away
from the commercial and night life area, as well as from the new Punta
Pacifica Hospital, which has recently affiliated to John Hopkins Medicine
International. The property is located only two and a half hours away by
plane from Miami, and five and half hours from New York.
While the numerous constructions in Panama are already known by
all, Trump Ocean Club is proud to be the first of its size that initiated
construction. Also, the possibility of living in an oceanfront luxurious
property, in an exciting and growing city with very competitive prices
has not gone unnoticed. To emphasize that the Trump Ocean Club is very
close to the Panama Canal and the Casco Viejo, means that the project is
obviously defining the future of this city, the region and the country!.
